Behind It All Foundation x Pen Power Poetry's Girl PowHer Workshop
In collaboration with the Behind It All Foundation, Izzy led an empowering poetry workshop for young girls, creating a space for creativity, self-expression, and healing. During the session, Izzy shared her personal tips and demonstrated how poetry can be a profound tool for love and self-discovery. She read to the girls Nikki Giovanni and Maya Angelou as well to spark inspiration.
The girls had the opportunity to craft their own poems and proudly perform them. Watching their voices and confidence blossom was a testament to the power of poetry. Moments like these remind us of why Pen Power Poetry was founded in the first place.
